Central, a longtime Cushing resident and retired City of Cushing employee, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Cushing Hospital at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home, with Rev. L. A. Sadler, officiating. Interment, under direction of Davis Funeral Home, will be in the Fairlawn cemetery. Mr. Branstetter, son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Mark Branstetter, was born on August 7, 1897 at Red Fork, Oklahoma. He came to Cushing with his parents in 1910 and he had lived here since that time. He was married to Lola Knohler, August 31, 1930 at San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Branstetter was employed by the City of Cushing from 1931 until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of the Cushing I.O.O.F. Lodge and the Cushing Masonic Lodge. Relatives who survive are his wife, Mrs. Lola Branstetter of the home, one son, Lee Ray Branstetter of Boulder, Colo., one brother, G.M. Branstetter of Nowata, one sister, Mrs. C. K.
