Graveside services will be held on Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Euchee Valley Memorial Park, Cushing. Mr. Jeremie Beller will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Margaret was born on Feb. 20, 1923 in Cushing to the late Harold and Ella (Carter) Davenport. She grew up in the Cushing area and attended Norfolk schools. Margaret graduated from Norfolk High School in 1941. She married Leroy Brassfield on Apr. 21, 1951 in Cushing, Okla. She was a homemaker. Margaret was a member of the Tri-County Church of Christ, where she had taught Sunday school. She enjoyed making crafts, especially carousel horses. Margaret loved to travel and spend time with her family. She is survived by her sons David Brassfield and wife Carol of Newalla, Kenneth Wayne Brassfield of Cushing, daughters Kathie Duncan and husband Roger of Stillwater, Linda Brassfield of Newport, Tenn., sister Marilyn Pace and husband Paul of Cushing, grandchildren Mark Sharp and finance Trish , Karri James and husband Larry, Tiffany Jones and husband Michael, Tyler Brassfield and wife Candace, Anita Frazier and husband Jamie, Sandy Gregg and husband Chris, Mike and Mark Brassfield, Ten great grandchildren, One great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy Brassfield -2005, sister Melba Ruth Pace.
