::Floral Haven Cemetery--Tulsa OK 

Irene Collins , 91, died Saturday, December 2, 2006. Born Irene 
Ashbaugh, December 28, 1914 in Stillwater, OK, an only child. She 
married Douglas A. Collins, in the early 1940's in Tulsa, OK, where 
they made their home. The couple enjoyed 40 plus years together, 
where Irene was an accomplished seamstress and Doug retired from 
Warren Petroleum. Although the couple had no children of their own, 
they shared in the lives of nieces and nephews. Doug preceded Irene 
in death in 1985. Irene was an avid bridge player and a member of 
multiple bridge clubs. She was a devoted member of Christ United 
Methodist Church, where she participated in many activities. Irene 
left behind her faithful companion, Susie, her black poodle, along 
with four generations of nieces and nephews. Irene was a caring and 
loving and unforgettable special aunt, who has left her family and 
friends with many special memories. Service will be 2 p.m., 
Wednesday, December 6, at Stanleys Funeral Home. Interment following 
at Floral Haven Cemetery. Stanleys, 743-6271.
