Conway, Olive "Cleo" April 8, 1910 - Nov. 10, 2006 rivate inurnment will be held for Olive "Cleo" Conway, 96, of North Bend, at Lakeside Cemetery. Cremation rites have been held. leo was born April 8, 1910, in Yale, Okla., the daughter of Monce and Zalie (Eagles) Bergstrom. She died Nov. 10, 2006, in Coos Bay. She was raised and educated in Oklahoma and Washington, and she graduated from high school in Forks, Wash. She married Okle Loyde Welch in Forks in 1930. Cleo worked as a licensed practical nurse in Washington, Idaho and Oregon. She moved to North Bend from Hermiston six years ago. Cleo enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Frank Welch of Milton-Freewater, Ben Welch of Boardman and Abe and Pam Welch of Kooskie, Idaho; daughters, Julie and Felix Campo of Tacoma, Wash., and Lorraine Welch Selders of North Bend; 28 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great- grandchildren. Cleo was preceded in death by her husband in 1964, two brothers, Owen and Leonard Bergstrom; and two sisters, Nellie Lyndecker and Emily Swesey.
