All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens--Eugene OR Eugene Register Guard 1 Feb 2007 Charles Corliss Sr. SPRINGFIELD - The graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 1, at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Charles Evans Corliss Sr. of Springfield, who died Jan. 29 of age-related causes. He was 91. He was born Feb. 10, 1915, in Cushing, Okla., to Alpha and Mursey Evans Corliss. He and his wife, Edith, were married Sept. 9, 1994, in Springfield. Corliss worked as a farmer in New Mexico before moving to Oregon. He retired as a Raiman machine operator with Weyerhaeuser. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles Jr. and Noel, both of Springfield, and Mike of Salem; nine grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Two wives, Elizebeth Corliss and Clara Corliss, and a daughter, Elizebeth Louise "Betty" Blair, died previously. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in Eugene.
