All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Bethel Greenwood Cemetery--Agra OK Cushing Daily Citizen April 19, 2007 07:36 pm No Picture Opal Lorane Coy, former Cushing resident now of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, Apr. 14, 2007 in Prescott at the age of 97 years. The daughter of the late Edward Wilkey and Minnie Collyar Wilkey, Opal was born on Dec. 9, 1909 north of Kendrick, Okla. and was reared and educated near Kendrick. She was united in marriage to Buck Coy; he preceded her in death in 1970. Opal had worked for Tidrose Grocery for over 25 years in Kendrick prior to working at Warehouse Grocery in Cushing and later for the Cushing Hospital. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Leon and Kathy Thomas of Tucson, Ariz., Betty Thomas of Prescott, Ariz. and Don and Stephanie Wilkey of Stockton, Calif. and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Olan Wilkey and Eldon Wilkey and two sisters, Anna Ellis and Edith Isreal. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Apr. 21, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Murray officiating.
