Dilger, Ruby Ashpaugh 

PAMPA - Ruby Ashpaugh Dilger, 88, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 
with the Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, 
officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley 
Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Dilger was born Aug. 8, 1916, at Shattuck, Okla. She had been a 
resident of Pampa since 1952. She married Verlin Dilger in Stillwater, 
Okla. She worked as a secretary for Celanese for 29 years, retiring in 
1982. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Mrs. Dilger will be remembered for her sweet loving spirit and the love 
for her family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Sue Law and husband, Herman, of 
Pampa; two granddaughters, Debbie Edington and husband, Howard, of Burkett 
and Sheri Worthington and husband, John, of Pampa; four great-
grandchildren, Zach Edington and wife, Mandy, of Coleman, Stephanie 
Edington of Burkett, and Brandon Johnston and Shelby Worthington, both of 
Pampa.

The family suggests memorials be to Pampa Meals on Wheels, 302 E. Foster, 
Pampa, TX 79065, or First Christian Church Sunshine Ministry, 1633 N. 
Nelson, Pampa, TX 79065.
