All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Primrose FH--Norman OK DOLL - Orville Dean, 70, was born January 25, 1937 in Yale, OK, to Carl and Gertie (Pettit) Doll. He died Saturday, September 1, 2007, in Norman, OK. He was a longtime pipeline welder, who traveled extensively in all of the United States and also spent time in South America. Mr. Doll was a Veteran of the United States Army. Although he was a resident of Glencoe for many years, Norman was his home for the last 23 years. He enjoyed playing dominoes, horse breeding and racing, and joking with his pipeline buddies. His exceptional work ethic was passed on to his children. He never met a stranger. Mr. Doll is survived by: his loving wife of 23 years, Betty of Norman; 2 brothers, Norbert Doll and wife, Katherine of Glencoe and Wayne Doll and wife, Myra of Tulsa; sister-in-law, June Doll; sons, Terry Doll and wife, Jennifer and Alex Dodd; daughters, LaDeana Burell and husband, Bob and Gail Johnson and husband, Randall; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents and 1 brother, Kenneth Doll. Service will be 2p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the First Nazarene Church of Norman, with Rev. Brent Hardesty officiating.
