All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Euchee Valley Memorial Park--Cushing OK 5/28/2003 Fred Grace Fred Grace, a lifelong Cushing resident and member of the First Baptist Church, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at the age of 78. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Cushing. Dr. Lonny Lee will preside. Interment will follow in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, east of Cushing. Funeral services will be under the direction of the Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing. The son of the late W.L. Grace and Martha Morgan Grace was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Drumright, where he was raised and educated. After finishing high school he entered the U.S. Army Air Force serving in World War II. He married Darlene Sherrin Oct. 13, 1951. He had worked for the Santa Fe Railroad, the City of Cushing and the Cushing Post Office. He retired in 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a deacon. He was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge, and a 32nd Degree Mason with his consistory at Guthrie. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Paul Grace and Clarence Grace preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of the home in Cushing; one daughter, Marsha Grace of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Danny Grace and wife Melissa of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Cristina, Stephanie and Jeffrey Grace; one brother, Alex Grace of Cushing; two sisters, Lula Martini of Philadelphia, Penn. and Lela Chambers of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Grace and Loscille Grace of Cushing, along with numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. *********************************************************************** This copy contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives.
