All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Hayhurst FH--Broken Arrow OK Goodner, Betty Jean "Peck", 78, was born June 25, 1928 in Stillwater, OK, the daughter of O.T. and Louise (Cassali) Peck. Betty died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Broken Arrow, OK. Betty was a graduate of Tahlequah High School and received her Bachelors Degree in Home Economics from Oklahoma A&M (OSU) University. She married James Clifford Goodner on June 23, 1950 in Tahlequah. They moved to Broken Arrow in 1950. Betty was a School Teacher at Broken Arrow High School. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and reading. She taught Kindergarten Sunday School Class. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow. Betty is survived by: husband, Jimmie Goodner, Broken Arrow; daughters, Teri Dorshorst, Broken Arrow, Debi and husband, Mike Owens, Hayesville, KS; grandchildren, KiKi Dorshorst and Danielle Freeman; sisters, Helen Bohart, Marjorie Hutchison, Beverly Watkins. Betty was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and George Peck. Memorials may be made to the New Frontier Hospice, 5147 S. Garnett, Tulsa, OK 74146.
