Mary Magdalene [Fortner] Hall (1890 - 1965) Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Magdalene [Fortner] Hall, who died Monday in her home on Rt. 3 at the age of 75, will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Free Methodist Church, the Rev. Preston Harmon officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Strode Funeral Home. Mrs. Hall was born in Woodlawn, Kan. Nov. 11, 1890, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lovell [Lovelace Patterson] Fortner. She was married to Lester [Fayette] Hall Feb. 6, 1915 in Stillwater. The family lived in Isabella and Ponca City before returning to Stillwater in 1933. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Free Methodist Church and the Good Cheer Home Demonstration Club. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Martin, Bethany; two sons, the Rev. [James] Edsel Hall, Woodward, and Forrest L. [Lester] Hall, San Antonio, Tex.; one brother, J. W. [William ``Bill'' James] Fortner, Custer City; two sisters, Mrs. True Hillerman, 416 E. 15th, and Mrs. Eunice Baker, 1423 Chester; 11 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, David [Edsel] Hall, Tim Hall, Forrest L.
