He was reared and received his education in Jennings, Oklahoma and entered the United States Army, serving for three years. Upon his return from the military, he moved to Rockford, Illinois and worked in a factory before moving back to Jennings in 1972 where he worked for Bruce Sand and Stone and also for Drumright County as a truck driver. Johnny and Barbara Kay Christian were married September 21, 1988 at Carthage, Missouri and made their home in Cushing. Survivors include: His wife, Barbara, of the home; two brothers, James Hollon of Tulsa and Danny Hollon of Mannford, Oklahoma; two sisters, Joyce Skinner of Yale, Oklahoma and Carolyn Rusco of Cushing; his children, Kevin Hollon and Keith Hollon of Illinois and Candice Hollon and Krystal Hollon of Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half brother, Bob Guin.
