Hinman Constance "Connie" A. Hinman, 82, of Bartlesville, passed away on Dec. 30, 2002 after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Cox officiating. Final committal rites will be accorded Mrs. Hinman in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker- Brown Funeral Home. Connie was born on April 4, 1920 in Cushing, OK to Oscar J. & Alma (Stewart) Pickett. She graduated Cleveland High School in 1939 and then attended Central State University. She married Charles "Chuck" Hinman on May 30, 1952 and made their home in Bartlesville. Connie taught English and commercial subjects for several years in OK. She was then employed by Phillips Petroleum as an executive secretary. Connie was a long time member of the New Harmony Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a faithful Christian radio listener. Connie is survived by her husband Charles, of the home, one son, James Paul Hinman of Tulsa, one daughter, Mary Ann DeLaPorte of Bartlesville, and one granddaughter, Kasi Rachel DeLaPorte also of Bartlesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Alma Pickett, a sister, Agnes Louise Marko and a brother, William Bill Pickett.
