She was a beautiful person inside and out and touched many lives with her involvement in Loaves and Fishes, CASA, and the many other charities she volunteered for, just to mention a few. She was born March 29, 1953 in Cushing, Okla., but moved to Paso Robles when she was three years old. She went to school in Paso Robles and was a wonderful cheerleader as well as homecoming queen in 1970. She graduated in 1971 and married the love of her life Jay Hall in 1972 in Yosemite, Calif. Kenita was devoted to her family and moved with them to Holland, Indonesia, Norway and Texas but her "home" was always Paso Robles. She and her family returned home to Paso in 1998. She will be deeply missed. She is now flying high and pain free. We love her and miss her so much. She was the treasured daughter of Kenneth and Norma Hicks, beloved wife of Jay Hall, loving mama of two, daughter Juliana Hall and her son Caleb Hall, daughter-in-law Juliana and grandson Julian. Her brother Randy Hicks, his wife Lori, and their two sons, John and Lee Hicks. She unconditionally gave her love to all. A celebration of Kenita's life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, march 30, 2007 at North County Christian Fellowship, 921 9th St., Paso Robles. Kenita loved and supported the following charities; St. Jude Children's research Hospital, Loaves and Fishes, and CASA. The family request donations to any of the above in lieu of flowers., etc. Published in the San Luis Obispo Tribune on 3/21/2007. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Payne County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/payne/payne.html
