Nell L. Jones 
Graveside services for Nell L. Jones, 83, of Davenport, Oklahoma will be 
held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2003 at the Davenport Cemetery in Davenport. 
Rev. Mike Mitchell will preside. 

Services will be under the direction of the Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing. 

Born April 30, 1919 in Avery, she was married to Ira A. (Hoot) Jones in 1946 
in Bristow, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in 
Davenport. 

A homemaker Mrs. Jones died on Sunday March 2, 2003 at the McKinney Health 
Care Center in McKinney, Texas. 

Survivors include three grandchildren: William Charles Howard of McKinney, 
Texas, Karey Thornton of McKinney, Texas and Cheri Howard of Oklahoma City, 
and eight great-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ira (Hoot) Jones 
and one daughter, Lorene Kay Howard.
