Leigh, 78, died Monday, May 26, 2003, in Claremore Veteran's Center in Claremore. Visitation at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home will be today from 8:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. Graveside services, with Brother Jack Reeves presiding, will be Thursday at 10:30 in Paradise Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is directing the arrangements. He was born in Drumright June 15, 1924, to Roy and Minnie (Jones) Leigh. He married Beatrice Webber in Stillwater. She died April 15, 2000. He was a member of the Christian Church and was a Wal-Mart greeter. He also sold auto parts for many years. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Glen, Elmo and Harold Leigh; a son, David Leigh; and a son-in-law, David Raper. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Raper of Pawnee; one grandchild, Mandy Pace and husband David of Pawnee; one brother, Gail Leigh of Perkins; and two sisters, Freda Maciel and Emma Purcell, both of California.
