::Memorial Park Cemetery--Amarillo TX

Richard Eugene Mote

Richard Eugene Mote, 75, of Amarillo died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home 
Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Dr. Chester Beavers 
officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Mote was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Cushing, Okla. He married Maria 
Perez in August 1956 in Harlingen. Richard was retired from the Air 
Force after 21 years of service, serving during the Cold War. He was 
a member of American Legion Post No. 129 in Stillwater, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Maria Mote and Nita Mote, 
both of Amarillo; a sister, Rachel Whitted of Lodi, Calif.; a 
brother, Russell Mote of California; and five granddaughters.
