All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian Nona Mae Miller Services: Mon., March 11, 3 p.m. Services are being held Monday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m., in Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln., for Nona Miller, 72, who passed away March 6, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. Pastor Doug Davis will officiate and burial will follow in Greenlawn Southwest. Nona was born October 7, 1929, in Ripley, Oklahoma. She spent her life being a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. Nona had a musical laugh that delighted those around her. The sound of her laughter will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with her. Nona was a loving person who never knew a stranger, she instantly made friends wherever she went and made anyone she was with feel surrounded by love. She will be missed by all her family and friends who loved her dearly. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Kenneth ONeal; her brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Annie Lamb; her aunt and uncle, Sam and Iva Eddington; her nine nieces, eight nephews and numerous other relatives. The family would like to thank the staff at Carissa Court Residental Care with special thanks to Michelle and Rachel for their countless hours, unending patience and warm compassion. The family would also like to give special thanks to Jeanne at Optimal Hospice for the excellent care and loving support.
