The Cushing Democrat, October 22, 1914

Mrs. Catherina Munns died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mark Branstetter
5:30 Wednesday Morning after an illness of some weeks, aged 79 years 1 month
and 3 days.

Catherina Elmore Jolliffe was born in Indiana September 18, 1835 and moved
with her parents when 4 years old to Knox County, Missouri. 

She was united in marriage to David Munns in the year of 1855. 

Of this union 10 children were born, only two survive her, they being Mrs.
Dora Branstetter and Robert Munns. 

Her husband had preceded her to the grave by 37 years. 

The deceased was a good christian woman and for many years a conscientiouos
member of the Methodist Church.

She was a well beloved and highly respected woman. 

Funeral services are to be held at the home of Mark Branstetter, Thursday, 
October 22nd at 2 O'Clock p.m.

The remains will be laid to rest beside her son J.S. Munns, in the Zion 
Cemetery.
