Munns Dies on Sunday 80-Year Old Resident Dies After Long Illness; Funeral set Wednesday Robert B. Munns, 80 died at the home of his son, Elza A. Munns, at 124 West 2nd Street at 4:30 Sunday morning following a long illness. The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home. Major John Courtols of the Salvation Army will conduct the service. He was born in Knox county, Missouri, Aug. 25, 1869, and came to Oklahoma with his mother and family in 1893 and homesteaded on a farm two miles north of Cushing on Highway 18. Later he moved to a farm 10 miles southeast of Cushing, where he resided until his death. He was married to Mary Elizabeth McCauley at Stillwater, Feb. 19, 1894. He was a member of the Cushing Masonic lodge and was given a life membership in the lodge in 1933. Relatives who survive are his wife Mrs. Mary E. Munns of the home, two sons, George D. Munns of Kansas City, Kan. Elza A. Munns of Cushing, four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Ritter of Fallis, Okla., Mrs. Edna Meyer of Avery, Mrs. Mammie Dahlke of Kansas City, Kan. Mrs. Ruth Rodebush of Bristow, one sister, Mrs. Dora Branstetter of Cushing, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and other relatives. Burial under direction of the H. A.
