All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Stillwater Gazette dated April 2, 1937 Thomas Lloyd Munday Obituary Funeral services for Thomas Lloyd Munday, 58, whose death occured at his home in Mehan, Ok., on Wednesday, March 24, 1937, will be held at the Church of Christ in Ripley Friday  afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Maurice Meredith, of Cushing, officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope cemetery under direction of the Vincent Funeral home. Thomas Lloyd Munday was born in Greenwood county, Kansas, on March 1, 1879.  He came to Oklahoma at the age of 13 years and was married on December 24, 1899, to Miss Myrtle Clendenin. Six children were born to them. The family moved to Ellis county in 1906 and  resided there until 1917, then returning to Payne county.  The family has since lived in or near Mehan.  Decedent is survived by the widow and three children.  The children are Mrs. Lena Hoggatt, of Cushing; J.W. Munday and Miss Lena Munday, of Mehan.  Three sons,  Lee, Lloyd and Elmer, preceded their father in death. His mother, Mrs. Mary Munday and a brother, Roy Munday, of Ripley, and five grandchildren also survive.
