Cushing Daily Citizen, May 5, 1964

Alfred R. Meyer, 73, retired farmer, 422 N. Central died about 10:30 A.M.
Tuesday from an apparent heart attack. He was dead on arrival at the
Cushing Hospital.

The time of the funeral service will be announced later by the Davis 
Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Meyer was born July 31, 1890, in St. Charles Co. Missouri.

He came to Oklahoma in 1908, settling southeast of Cushing and had lived in
this area since that time. He moved to his present address in 1960.

Relatives who survive are his widow, Mrs. Edna Meyer of the home, two sons,
Robert Meyer of Tulsa and George Meyer of Kildare, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Crain
of Arkansas City, Kansas, one brother, Herbert Meyer of Cushing, 15 
grandchildren 
and one great-grand child.
