Virginia "Gini," was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on October 23, 1929 to William Holsted and Kathryn Norris Holsted. The family moved to California during the infamous Dust Bowl migration. She was educated in Los Angeles and graduated from USC. She was a USC Trojan fan all her life. She was preceded in death by her father; baby brother, Robert; and two husbands, Frank Walters and Howard Lord. She is survived by her devoted and loving companion, Donald Jordan; her dear and loving daughters, Shanda Jones and Carla Rouch; son-in- law, James Rouch; her brothers, Harold Holsted, Stanley Holsted; devoted sister-in-law, Florence Holsted; two granddaughters and two great granddaughters. She had many cousins, aunts and uncles in the mid-west and nieces and nephews on the west coast. She loved each and every one of them. A private service will be held at a later 01 Apr 2007.
