His contagious smile and good nature led to hundreds of friendships. He loved country music, movies and stand-up comedy. Some of his happiest times were spent with his mother and Aunt Kelli at country music concerts and the comedy clubs with his brother, Sean. Some of his proudest moments came as a 14 year athlete in the Oklahoma Special Olympics where he won numerous medals and made lasting friendships. The one thing Shane was most proud of was his academic career at Stillwater High School. The standing ovation as Shane walked across the stage to accept his diploma in May, 1998, was an extraordinary memory that Shane and all who knew him would cherish forever. Another big highlight in Shane’s life was his graduation party at his cousin, Debbie’s house. Almost everyone attended and it was one of Shane’s dearest memories. Shane would want everyone reading this to know he was 24 years old, very much a man, a high school graduate and he loved his momma, his family and all his friends.
