All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Unknown paper, date about 1973 Ethel Ritter Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Mae Ritter, 77 who died Monday evening in the Drumright Nursing Home, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Memory Chapel of the Fairley Funeral Home. Rev. J.A. Sadler will be the officiant. Interment with final rites will be conducted in Flynn Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Fairley Funeral Home. A native of Cushing Mrs. Ritter was born April 3, 1896 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Munns. She was raised and received her education in this area and married William A. Ritter on August 15, 1916 in Chandler. They lived in the Wellston and Claremore areas while Ritter engaged in farming. He retired in 1963? and preceded her in death on May 6, 1966?. Mrs. Ritter had been a resident of the Drumright Nursing Home for two years and had been a member of the First Christian Church. Her survivors include two sons, Lincoln W. Ritter of route 2, Cushing, Jack Ritter of Drumright Oklahoma. Two daughters Mrs. J.E. (Rosezetta) Roberts of Gulfport Mississippi, and Mrs. Lee Crook of Comanche Oklahoma, two brothers, Eliza Munns of Liberal Kansas, and Dave Munns of Tulsa Oklahoma. Three sisters, Mrs. J.A. (Edna) Sadler of 114 East Greenlee Cushing, Mrs. Mamie Dahlke of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Rodebush of Shamrock, Oklahoma, fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. *********************************************************************** Copyright c 2002 by Pam Hodges Crain.
