RINGWALD The Funeral OF Jacob F. Ringwald, was held at the Perkins Christian Church, Friday, Oct. 9th at 2:30 p.m. Services were conducted by Rev. Chas. Strickland, an old friend of the family, and by another friend and near neighbor, Rev. T. S. Stockton led the congregation in prayer. Two of Mr. Ringwald's favorite songs were sung "The Old Rugged Cross" and "I Am Resting Sweetly Resting." The sermon was both comforting to the family and an exhortation of Christian living to all present. Services at the cemetery were conducted by the Perkins Masonic Lodge of which he was a 32nd degree Mason. The services were conducted by Mr. Smith W. M. of the Stillwater Masonic chapter. The Odd Fellows Lodge of Perkins of which he was a member for 45 years, was also represented. A large attendance of old and young friends from Perkins and his old neighborhood, and a number from Stillwater and Ripley were there to pay their las respects to him. The members of the immediate family present were, Otto, Leslie and family, John and family, and Alvin. Other relatives there were two nephews, Everett Gates and wife and sons, Forest and family, and Winston and family and Guy Gates and wife.
