All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== 5/29/2003 Otto Jay 'Bud' Spyres Yale resident Otto Jay "Bud" Spyres, 81, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, in Cushing Regional Hospital. Graveside services, with Rev. Michael Dersham presiding, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Lawson Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home is directing the arrangements. He was born in Yale June 7, 1921, to William and Vica Lou Cotterman Spyres. He lived in Yale all his life and loved fishing, camping, bingo and volunteering with the American Legion at the Yale fair. He was a veteran of World War II and was a disabled veteran. He attended the Baptist Church, the Assembly of God and the American Legion. He was very fond of his nephews and nieces and had many life-long friends that knew him as "Bud." In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd Spyres.
