Sadler, 85, 114 East Greenlee died Friday April 15, 1983 at 1:35 p.m. in the Cushing Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be on Monday April 18, at 2 p.m. in the first Baptist Church with the Rev. Joel Kircher First Free Will Baptist Church and Rev. James Christian, Cushing officiating. Burial under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home will be in the the Shamrock Cemetery. Edna the daughter of Robert and Mary Munns was born Feb, 24, 1898 north of Cushing on a farm. Sher was reared and received her early education in Cushing and had lived in this area most of her life. She married Alfred Meyer on May 19, 1920 in Cushing. The couple established their first home on a farm at this time and lived there until 1960 when they moved into town. Mr. Meyer preceded her in death on May 5, 1964. She married J.A. Sadler on April 24, 1966 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1960. Mrs. Sadler was a long time member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, George Meyer, Braman Oklahoma, six step-sons, James W. and Conn J. Sadler both of Cushing, Coy Sadler of Beaumont, Texas, Russell K. Sadler, Edmond, J.D. Sadler, Perry, OK. Wallace Sadler of Stillwater. Two stepdaughters, Mrs. Maxey Raimer, Mrs. Eletha Sherrod both of Tulsa. One brother Dave Munns of Tulsa. Many Grandchildren and great grand-chldren and neices and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, one brother and three sisters.
