Irene Avers Wright

DUMAS - Irene Avers Wright, 91, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sunset Memorial Cemetery 
in Stillwater, Okla., with Dr. Henry Chennault of First Church of 
Stillwater officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Wright was born in Mustang. She was a longtime resident of Stillwater 
and had lived in Dumas for four years. She retired as a public school 
teacher.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Avers, in 1964; and 
her second husband, Jess M. Wright, in 1995.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Patti Phillips Dennis of Dumas; a 
sister, Opal Tarr of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.

The family will be at 302 Powell.
