Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 31, 2007 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing. J. Edsel Hall will officiate. Interment will follow at the Perkins Cemetery, Perkins, Okla. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Dalmer was born on Jan. 19, 1942 in Yale, Okla. to Jesse Palmer and Sarah Ellen (Robinson) Westfall. Dalmer grew up in Yale and graduated from Yale High School. He married Glenda Jordan on Mar. 26, 1963 in Odessa, Texas. Dalmer was a machinist for Sure Test Inc. in Breckenridge, Texas, retiring in 2003. They moved to Perkins in 2004. He was a Baptist by faith. Dalmer loved to watch football and could tell you everything about many football teams, from the players to the coaches. His favorite team was O.U. Dalmer also enjoyed pulling pranks and telling jokes. He liked to listen to Buddy Holly. Dalmer is survived by his wife of 44 years, Glenda of the home, sons Donnie Westfall and wife Misty of Bowie, Texas, Brian Westfall of Cross Plains, Texas, daughters Cindy Castle and husband Jon Mark of Bigsby, Okla., Kay Barnett and husband Gary of Iowa Park, Texas, grandchildren Lance, Raymond and Tiffany Logan, James, Sarah and Joshua Castle, Cindy, Brandy, Colton and Nikki Westfall, Jerrica Bills, April and Meagan Barnett, Dora Price, great grandchildren Donavon Logan, Kaydance Logan, Madison Logan, Makayla Arce and Allyssa Jackson.
