The baby of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Courts accidentally got hold of some concentrated lye Monday, burning its lips painfully. Luckily it did not swallow any of the lye and no internal damage resulted. Glad to see the little fellow is now alright. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Quinton Times, Friday, June 26, 1914 THE TIMES IS TWO YEARS OLD The Quinton Times was two years old with last week's issue and this week begins volume three. It has enjoyed a good patronage ever since its first issue and today is better equipped in point of circulation and in its mechanical department than ever before. A series of new body type has been added recently and the paper will be further improved from time to time. In this connection we desire to thank one and all for the business given and assure each and every one of our hearty appreciation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Quinton Times, Friday, June 26, 1914 Hurt in a Runaway While coming to town last Sunday afternoon, Mrs. Brown of the Ash Creek neighborhood, sustained a severe sprain of the ankle, a few miles west of Quinton. Her husband left the team to go after some water when they took fright and ran away, the woman being thrown from the wagon and injured. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
