AUSTIN Callie M. AUSTIN, 83, of Hartshorne died Friday, January 1, at Twin City Nursing Center. Funeral services were held Monday, January 4, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Rev. Billy DAVENPORT and Rev. MINYARD officiated and burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Ms. AUSTIN was born January 14, 1904 at Hartshorne the daughter of James and Mariah FORMAN DEATHERAGE. Prior to returning to Hartshorne in 1973, she had lived in Lancaster, California. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Hartshorne Rebekah Lodge #54. She was preceded in death by a brother, James DEATHERAGE, in 1959. Survivors include: a son, James Donald ROE, of Tuba City, Arizona; two brothers, Mark DEATHERAGE of Lawton and John DEATHERAGE of Salinas, California; two sisters, Sally KINNIKIN and Clara KILGORE, both of Hartshorne; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. == "McAlester News--Capital And Democrat", Sunday, January 3, 1988 Callie M.
