Busch, Jewell

Jewell Busch April 20, 1923 - May 5, 2007 A graveside service will be 
held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 11, at Shafter Memorial Park for 
Jewell Busch who passed away in Fresno on May 5. Pastor John May of 
Rio Bravo Valley Baptist Church will officiate. Visitation is 
scheduled for today, May 10, from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at Mish 
Funeral Home, 120 Minner Avenue. Jewell was born in McAlester, 
Oklahoma and was raised in the Bakersfield area where she was a 
graduate of Wasco High School. She spent some of her adult years 
living in Bakersfield before moving to Fresno. Jewell remained in 
Fresno for about 50 years and was an active member of the American 
Legion Auxiliary Post #509. She is preceded in death by son, Michael 
Baggs, and is survived by five sons, and many grandchildren. A 
remembrance in Jewell's name may be made to the American Legion 
Auxiliary #509, Past President Nursing Scholarships, 3509 N. First 
St., Fresno, CA 93726.
