Donald M. Ball Nov. 2, 1935 -- Sept. 21, 2006

Donald Malcolm Ball, 70, of Mariposa died Thursday at Evergreen 
Convalescent Hospital.

Mr. Ball was a native of McAlester, Okla. He had lived in Mariposa 
since 1994 and previously had lived in Modesto since 1944. He 
graduated from Modesto High School in 1954. He was a brick mason for 
Bricklayers Union 4, Oakland, for 36 years. He served in the National 
Guard. He enjoyed golf tournaments, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his children, Gregory Allan Ball of Placerville and 
Tyrene Linn Ball of Modesto; brother, Robert Dale Ball of Modesto; 
sisters, Nancy Jean VanDyke and Melva Jean Duffin, both of Roseville; 
and two grandchildren.

Visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Salas Brothers Funeral 
Chapel.
