Service is pending with Don Grantham Funeral Home, Duncan. ========= Duncan Banner 30 Jul 2003 Geneva Pearl Reavis Bond Geneva Pearl Reavis Bond, 84, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Duncan, died Monday, July 28, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Copeland of Mineral Wells officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Geneva Pearl was born Jan. 24, 1919, in Kiowa, to Rufus Thomas and Geneva Doll Risner. She married W.A. "Jack" Reavis in June 1938, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1970. She was married to J.T. Bond for 16 years and he preceded her in death in 1987. Survivors include a son, Tom Reavis of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Geneva Jacqueline Marshall of Jennings; a stepdaughter, Georgeann Baring of Jourdanton, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jerry Lynn Reavis on Aug. 11, 1999. Bearers will be Tommy Hearn, David Shorter and Stanley Telford. Honorary bearer is Dave Collins.
