"Butch" Billy F. 'Butch' Cantrell was born June 20, 1940 in Carbon, Oklahoma. He was the son of Charlie and Margaret (Callie) Cantrell. He departed this life March 5, 2003, at the age of 62, in Harrah, Oklahoma. Butch was a meat cutter for 45 years and was a member of the local United Food & Commercial Workers Union. He has worked at the Piggly Wiggly and Safeway in McAlester, Oklahoma; Crest Foods in Midwest City, Oklahoma and was currently working at the IGA in Prague, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to cook. Butch was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: wife: Billie J. Cantrell, Harrah, OK; 1 son & fiance': Jeremy Cantrell & Shay Lastinger, Harrah, OK; 5 daughters & 4 sons-in-law: Gloria & Rick Walls, Moore, OK, Linda Mordecai, Harrah, OK, Sherri & Darrell Hall, Edmond, OK, Jana & Carl Parsons, Oklahoma City, OK, Rebekah & Don Maynard, Moore, OK; 4 brothers: Homer Cantrell, McAlester, OK, Dale Cantrell, McAlester, OK, Dennis Cantrell, McAlester, OK, Bob Cantrell, Texas; 3 sisters: Wilma Tate, Tulsa, OK, June Browne, Moore, OK, Gail Painter, Pryor, OK; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Wolfe Living Center at Summit Ridge, 18501 NE 63rd, Harrah, OK, 73045. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 7, 2003, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Summit Ridge, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
