All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Santa Rosa Memorial Park--Windsor CA Santa Rosa Press Democrat Published on July 26, 1996 CRYSTALEE CURTIS Crystalee Curtis, who sang and played piano, died July 16 at a Lakeport hospital of heart failure. She was 80. Curtis enjoyed singing light opera and she sang on radio programs. Her daughter, Anna Macomber of Kelseyville, said she also encouraged her children to sing and play. Curtis was born in McAlester, Okla., and lived 33 years in Santa Rosa before moving to Kelseyville two years ago to be near her daughter. She lived a number of years in South San Francisco where she was with the Mothers Singers and a former PTA president before moving to Santa Rosa. After she retired, she was a volunteer at Mark West Elementary School. Curtis was a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Chapter 99 in San Francisco, and a Council member of Bethel 300 of the International Order of Job's Daughters in Santa Rosa. Besides her daughter, she is survived by her son, Horatio Farnham Curtis III of Geyserville; mother, Marsha Tool of Port Orchard, Wash.; sisters, Katherin Weisner and Louise Pelay, both of Portland, Ore., and Athenia Martin in New Mexico; and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Inurnment will follow at the cemetery. Memorial donations are preferred to the American Lung Association, P.O.
