Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road. George Day was born Nov. 20, 1921, in McAlester, Okla. He retired from General Dynamics after 33 years. He owned and operated Day's Used Cars in Benbrook, D&D Ranch, was a 32nd- degree Mason and was an avid gardener. He was preceded in death by son, Ronnie; daughters, Akala and Rachel; grandchild, Denise; and siblings, Edith, Retha and Doug. Survivors: Loving wife of 38 years, Mary Day; daughters, Joyce Jennings and Tammy Nash and husband, Britt, all of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Emily Garner; grandchildren, Michele, Debbie, Floyd, Misty and Cassi; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Conley, Jay, Mack and Ray; and sisters, Willie K., Nell, Vet, Margaret and Betty.
