All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Sunny Lane Cemetery--Del City OK Derryberry, Harold Arthur Harold Arthur Derryberry, our beloved father, Papa, brother and friend, departed this life on December 4, 2002. He was born March 10, 1921 in Kiowa, OK to William and Lyda Derryberry. Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Hazel Derryberry and six brothers. He is survived by son Ronnie and his wife Kaye of Oklahoma City; granddaughters Jennifer Derryberry of Geneva, IL and Paige Tedesco and her husband Dustin of Edmond, OK; stepdaughter Patricia Birondo and her husband Nicolas of Orangevale, CA; grandsons Dee Birondo of Crescent City, CA and Nicolas Birondo, III of Orangevale, CA; sisters Bobbye Andrews and husband Daniel, Martha Jo Johnston, Lena Mae Peppers, Mildred Thompson, and Fern Walton; and many nieces and nephews. Harold was a WWII veteran and served in the 315th of the Army 79th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for heroic achievement in action during the battle for Hatten. He loved fishing with family and friends. He retired from Tinker AFB in June, 1985 with 31 years of civil service. We are richer for having you in our lives, and your love in our hearts. We love you and miss you. The family welcomes visitors Sunday, Dec. 8, from 6:30-8 PM at Vondel Smith and Sons, 6934 S. Western.
