Davis Rosa May Davis, 97, of Loomis died Jan. 4, 2004, at Sierra Hills Care Center in Roseville. Born in McAlester, Okla., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 60 years prior to moving to Loomis. She was a housekeeper for the Yuba County Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars 4095 Auxillary of Olivehurst, Olivehurst First Baptist Church, Senior Gleaners of Olivehurst and the Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include a daughter, Agnes Payne of Loomis; a brother, Joe Baker of Modesto; a sister, Lillian Eslinger of Idaho; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Davis; a daughter, Ella Squire; six brothers; and three sisters. Services: Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hutchinson and Carnes Chapel.
