Elam, Mrs. Lizzie 
Obituary from Quinton Times Newspaper Dec. 7, 1933: 
 "MRS. LIZZIE ELAM FUNERAL THURSDAY- Mrs. Lizzie Elam died at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. H.J. Pollard, about 10:30 Wednesday morning. She was
73 years old. Mrs. Elam had been ill with the flu for several days which
developed into pneumonia. 
Surving Mrs. Elam are five sons, Jim, Walter, Bert, Milo and Otto Elam,
all of Quinton, and four daughters,  Mrs. H.J.  Pollard, Mrs. Blant Burr,
and Mrs. Addie Young, all of Quinton, and Mrs. Laura Upfold of Millcreek. 
Burial was made in the Palestine Cemetery Thursday."
