Elam, William M. Rannels 
Obituary from Quinton Times Newspaper Mar.17, 1932: 
"OLD CITIZEN OF RUSSELLVILLE DIES- William Elam passed away at his home
in Russellville last Sunday. He was nearly 84 years old and had  lived in
Russellville for 25 years. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and
nine children, besides a host of grandchildren and many friends. He was a
member of the Russellville Church of God. 
The funeral services were held in his home in Russellville, conducted by
Rev. M.L. Mathews, pastor of  the Methodist Protestant Church at Quinton. 
He was laid to rest in the Palestine Cemetery in the presence of a large
group of friends and relatives. The sorrowing relatives have our deepest
sympathy."
