All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Vida Edna Brittain Finch Vida Edna Brittain Finch, 88, of Claude, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St., in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Okla. Mrs. Finch was born in Bugtussle, Okla., and moved to Claude in 1988 from Dewar, Okla. A homemaker, she was a member of the Pentecostal church and the Rebekah Lodge of Dewar. Her first marriage was to Ernest Theodore Brittain in 1927 at Okmulgee, Okla. Her second marriage was to Troy B. Finch in 1982 at Dewar. She was preceded in death by Mr. Brittain in 1974, Mr. Finch in 1988 and a son, Ronald Dean Brittain, in 1992. Survivors include four sons, Dwane Brittain of Cypress, Leo Brittain of Wichita Falls, Donald Brittain of Claude and Tom Finch of Henryetta; five daughters, Ruth Richardson of Claude, Trudy Mordecai of Henryetta and Tony Griffin, Faye Prince and Judy McLain, all of Bixby, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Palo Duro Nursing Home of Claude.
