All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Finley, Frances Elnora (Cochran) Frances Elnora (Cochran) Finley age 82, a Caddo resident and former longtime Oklahoma City resident. Born May 13, 1920 at Atoka, OK to James Alonzo and Lela May (Green) Cochran. Passed away Wednesday evening, February 12, 2003 at the Caddo Nursing Home at 82 years 8 months and 29 days. Elnora attended school at Harmony, Atoka, and was a 1942 graduate of the Southeastern State Teachers College. Elnora worked at the Dean's office while attending college. After graduation she taught at New Hope School in Atoka County, McAlester Schools and had retired in 1985 from the Oklahoma City School System. Elnora married Morris E. Finley on March 15, 1946 at McAlester, OK. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1988. Elnora was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and longtime member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was a member of three different bridge clubs, the Oklahoma Retired Teachers Association and was also an avid golfer. Survivors include 2 brothers: Munroe Cochran and wife Iva of Atoka, OK, Oren Cochran and wife Uelala of Atoka, OK; sister-in- law: Eva Mae Cochran of Atoka, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many very dear and loved friends. Preceded in death by husband: Morris E. Finley; parents: Alonzo and Lela Cochran; brother: Elmer Lee Cochran; sister in-law: Leola Cochran. Date of services: Sunday, February 16, 2003 at 2:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Chapel-Atoka, Oklahoma. Final resting place: Green Meadows Cemetery, officiating: Rev. Tom Hargrave. Casket bearers: David Lee Boston, Michael Cochran, Craig Cochran, Kyle Cochran, Keith Cochran, Callen Cochran, Clay McCall, Clint Bond, Luke Graves. Honorary casket bearers: Linda Coles, Ruby York, Bea Anderson, Becky White. Arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service, Atoka. Family Night, Saturday at 6:00 pm.
