Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Burleson, Father John Hennesey officiating. Burial: Laurel Land Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers: Mike Clifton, Rudy Hitt, Pete Peterson, Douglas Kraft, Brian Clifton, Monte Tinker. Memorials: The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 5110 S. Yale, Suite 101, Tulsa, Okla. 74135. Jimmy was born July 7, 1954, in Fort Worth to Cecil and Juanita Kuehling Forbes. He was a very loving husband, father, son and brother. He attended Trimble Tech High School. Jimmy married Helen Selby May 5, 1973, in Fort Worth. They then moved to Pittsburg County, Okla., in August 1983. He helped build Clifton Automotive and then purchased the business in 1997. Jimmy and Helen moved to Oklahoma to live in the country and to raise horses. He loved classic cars, especially Corvettes and he loved to play golf. He loved and was there for everyone and will be greatly missed. Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Forbes; grandparents, Genevieve and Theodore Kuehling and Willie and Margie Forbes; his nephew, Michael Forbes. Survivors: His wife, Helen Forbes of McAlester; son and daughter-in- law, Phillip and Marva Forbes of Stillwater, Okla.; parents, Cecil and Juanita Forbes of Fort Worth; sisters and brother-in-law, Ann Forbes and Cynthia Forbes, both of Fort Worth and Penny and James Moore of Trimble, Tenn.; brothers, Teddy Forbes of Fort Worth, Johnny Forbes of Hutchinson, Kan. and David Forbes of Springdale, Ark.
