All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Hartshorne Sun, Thursday, April 6, 1922 Jessie Aaron Gooch Jessie Aaron Gooch died at the hospital in this city, Wednesday, March 29, after a brief illness of pneumonia in the 33rd year of his age. Was born at Hall, Tenn., January 2, 1889, where he made his home until February 1918, thence coming to Oklahoma, residing at Ridgeway. Was married to Annie Myrtle Clement November 18, 1911. To this union was born one son, Sidney Aaron. He became a member of Peaceable Lodge No. 480 A. F. and A. M., Savanna, Okla, in 1920. He is survived by his wife and one child, age 9, a widowed mother, one sister, Mrs. O. Upton, Heavener, Okla; four brothers - Arch, Sidney and Arthur, of Halls, Tenn., and Charles Gooch, Heavener, Okla. The funeral services were held in the Christian Church, Friday afternoon at 1:30, conducted by Rev. Harry Cox, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. The remains were laid to rest in the Masonic Cemetery at McAlester, being buried with Masonic honors.
