Cora Gage 1918-2006 L. Cora went to her heavenly home November 4, 2006. Born near Kiowa to Luther B. & Docia Smith, December 8, 1918. She grew up in Atoka and moved to Muskogee in 1936. She married Luther E. Gage, February 6, 1943 who preceded her in death January 28, 1973. She retired from Phoenix Federal Savings & Loan in 1978 as Secretary in the Insurance and Tax department. L. Cora was a charter member of the Grandview Chapel. In 1992, the Pentecostal Holiness Church honored her for 50 years of dedicated service as Secretary-Treasurer. She is survived by: Two daughters: Betty L. (Buster) Narcomey, Tahlequah, Karan N. (Charles) Thompson, Lodi, Wisconsin, and one step-son Glen E. (Alline) Gage, Catoosa. Seven grandchildren: Pat, Lisa, Linda, Carol, Stephen, Danny and Laura, 20 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, one brother L.B. (Joyce) Smith, Tulsa and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers Ernest, James L. and Lawson D. Smith. Funeral services will be 12 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Fosters Ivory Chapel with Reverend Bobby Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
