All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Quinton Times, Friday, May 15, 1914 WILLIAM PRESTON HOPPER (From Ft-Smith America, 12) William Preston Hopper, of Quinton, Oklahoma, aged thirty-five, died at Sparks hospital at ten o'clock Monday morning. The wife and father, Mr. M.H. Hopper were with the deceased during his last hours and took the body to Quinton Monday night; and the funeral and burial will take place in that city this afternoon. Deceased and his father operated a large stock ranch near Quinton. He is survived by his wife and parents. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Quinton Times, Friday, May 15, 1914 PRESLY HOPPER DIES William P. Hopper died at a Fort Smith hospital at 10 o'clock Monday morning. On Sunday April 5th he underwent an operation for appendicitis and May 6th another operation was found necessary. He was not able to stand the strain and gradually grew worse until relieved by death.
