Virgil Hodges

QUANAH - Virgil Hodges, 86, died Saturday, July 5, 2003.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Clinton Young officiating. Burial will be in Chillicothe 
Cemetery by Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Hodges was born April 11, 1917, in Savanna, Okla. He was the son 
of the late Elijah Amon and Mary Ellen Kilgore Hodges.

Survivors include four daughters, Rhea Goss of Texline, Vickie 
Ashford, Brenda Hooker and Pam Gossett, all of Quanah; two sisters, 
Toni Marshall of Wichita Falls and Ruby Jeffrey of Pittsburg, Calif.; 
17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
