Hailey, who was struck by an interurban car at the West end of Pennsylvania avenue, on the night of April 16, died at Brooks Hospital last Thursday at 9:30 p.m.., from the effects of his injuries. The remains were conveyed to Van Buren, Ark., for burial, on the Saturday afternoon train. He was the son of R.J. and Martha Hailey, born November 20, 1882, at Ozark, Ark. He is survived by his widow and four children who reside in Van Buren, Ark., his mother and two brothers, Hartford, Ark. He had been a member of the U.M.W. of A. and Modern Woodmen of America for several years.
